Gavel (gavelmeeting.com) is provided by Material Systems LLC and offers meeting-management software for deliberative bodies. By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of your organization.
Gavel is in a pilot. Access is free, no package is offered for sale, and billing runs in test mode — no payment method can be charged. Plan limits are enforced in software. These terms therefore state no price and no billing arrangement; terms covering paid plans will be published here before any package can be bought.
Your meeting records belong to your organization. Owners can export the full record at any time and can delete the organization, which permanently purges its data after 30 days.
Don’t attempt to access other organizations’ data, disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that do.
Gavel is a record-keeping aid, not legal advice. Your organization remains responsible for complying with its own bylaws, open-meeting laws, and parliamentary authority. The service is provided “as is” without warranty; our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.
